Pontus Norgren (THE POODLES, TALISMAN, GREAT KING RAT) ha sido elegido para ser el reemplazante de Stefan Elmgren en HAMMERFALL.

Sobre su nueva banda, Norgren dijo: "Me gusta HAMMERFALL. Creo que hacen un tremendo show y me encantan sus canciones, así que cuando supe que estaban buscando un guitarrista pensé que debía intentarlo. Tocar en THE POODLES ha sido una experiencia maravillosa en muchos sentidos, pero siempre he querido tocar algo mas heavy... Es simplemente tiempo de cambiar".
