Desde sus comienzos en 1999 se dedicó a hacer covers de canciones de power metal de sus bandas europeas favoritas. Se distinguen por la voz fuerte de Sonia Pineault que les dio jerarquia para una maestría musical de calidad. A la altura de los esfuerzos de grupos europeos en este estilo, la banda grabó su primer album en Montreal en 2001: The Promise.

En 2003, la banda entró en estudios Menzo en Quebec para registrar el material que se convertiría en su segundo álbum, All the Sinners, salido a la venta en agosto de 2004. En 2005, el baterista original Cédric Prévost dejó la banda, y fue reemplazado por Mike Bélanger. Al principio del año siguiente, la banda hizo el acto de inauguración los power metallers de la finesa Sonata Arctica (3 veces). En agosto pasado, la banda anuncia su nuevo tecladista, William Simard que tomará el lugar del miembro original, Frédérick Desroches.

Historia:
En el año 2002 nace Nine Fears con Pablo Gimell y Shinil Choi en guitarras, Bruno Alamo en batería, Emanuel Salgado bajo y Roberto Castiglioni en voz y telcados. La banda surge de la idea de mezclar Heavy Metal con melodías medievales e influencias de Black y Gothic metal.
