Se acerca lo nuevo de VISION DIVINE

La banda italiana liderada por Olaf Thorsen, VISION DIVINE, recientemente firmó con Frontiers Records, compañía con la que lanzará su nuevo álbum de estudio llamado "9 Degrees West of the Moon", el primero desde que volviera Fabio Lione (RHAPSODY OF FIRE) a las voces debido a la salida de Michele Luppi. SIRENIA con single digital

En el Myspace de la ahora banda noruega-hispana, se puede escuchar un nuevo tema. Se trata de 'The Path To Decay', cuyo single digital podrá descargarse a partir del 26 de diciembre. Este es el primer corte con la española Aylin en la voces, participante de Operación Triunfo que reemplazara a la danesa Monika Pedersen. Asimismo, el próximo álbum de SIRENIA, "The 13th Floor" saldrá a la venta el 23 de enero, por medio de Nuclear Blast.

HAMMERFALL con nuevo CD en febrero

"No Sacrifice, No Victory" será el título del sucesor de "Threshold", el próximo disco de HAMMERFALL que saldrá a la venta en febrero de 2009, bajo el alero de Nuclear Blast. La particularidad de este trabajo es que una de sus canciones, 'One Of A Kind', fue escrita en conjunto por Oscar Dronjak y Jesper Stromblad, el guitarrista de IN FLAMES que participó en la composición de los dos primeros álbumes de HAMMERFALL.

Dos nuevos videos de GRAVE DIGGER se pueden revisar a través de la web, que corresponden a los temas 'Pray' y 'Ballad Of A Hangman'. Mientras que el primero está extraido del EP del mismo nombre. lanzado al mercado el viernes pasado, el segundo es parte del disco que el conjunto sacará al mercado el 9 de enero, por el sello Napalm Records.

IRON MAIDEN EN CHILE: Domingo 22 de Marzo - Club Hipico de Santiago

Sólo un año se demoró IRON MAIDEN en cumplir su promesa de regresar pronto a Chile, porque de acuerdo a El Mercurio, el 22 de marzo estará tocando en el Club Hípico, el único lugar disponible en esa fecha que puede albergar a una audiencia mayor a 30 mil personas. Esto, porque el Estado Nacional estará en reparaciones durante el primer trimestre de 2009.

Las entradas para este show de la doncella estarán a la venta a fines de noviembre. Este concierto se enmarca en el tramo final del extenso Somewhere Back In Time World Tour, la misma gira que vino a presentar el 9 de marzo en la Pista Atlética del Estadio Nacional. Ahora sin embargo, Steve Harris comentó que para esta visita, el grupo desplegará una mayor cantidad de canciones de los cuatro primeros álbumes, como lo hizo en el tour del DVD "The History Of Iron Maiden: The Early Days", el 2005.

Este tour debería ser la última vez en que toquemos varios de esos temas en vivo, por lo que realmente vamos a dar todo lo que tenemos!".

Bruce Dickinson agrega: "Llevar el Ed Force One alrededor del planeta y tocar para nuestros fans en todo el mundo ha sido una increible experiencia para todos nosotros. Para mí personalmente, pilotar y tocar ha sido una de las más desafiantes y satisfactorias cosas que he vivido, a pesar de las dificultades logísticas que encontramos".

El sitio web oficial del sexteto británico señala que tocarán por primera vez en Nueva Zelanda tras dieciséis años, tras tocar en Dubai (Emiratos Árabes) y Bangalore (India), que tras ello se dirigirán a México y que posteriormente harán una extensa recorrida por Centro y Sudamérica, incluyendo países y ciudades que la banda no ha visitado.

OPERA MAGNA anuncia nuevo disco

Los españoles OPERA MAGNA anunciaron su nuevo disco el cual esta próximo a lanzarse luego de 2 años de trabajo. El disco se titulará "Poe" y será temático basado en los oscuros relatos del famosos escritor estadounidense Edgar Allan Poe.

Fallece el vocalista de SHADOW GALLERY

Michael Baker, cantante y fundador de los progresivos SHADOW GALLERY, falleció el pasado Miércoles 29 de Octubre debido a un infarto al corazón.

DARK TRANQUILLITY graba concierto para futuro DVD.

La banda sueca ha filmado su concierto del pasado viernes en Italia para editar un DVD conmemorando la gira 20 aniversario de la banda.

La pasada noche del 31 de octubre, la banda sueca DARK TRANQUILLITY, realizó un concierto en Milán, Italia, en el que contó con la colaboración de Nell Singland (vocalista de THEATER OF TRAGEDY) durante la interpretación de “The Mundane and the Magic”, canción que no había sido interpretada en directo anteriormente. Dicho concierto ha sido grabado para un futuro DVD, agendado para el próximo año.

Luppi reaparece en KILLING TOUCH

Ya firmó contrato con el sello Scarlet Records la banda en que aparece el ex cantante de VISION DIVINE, Michele Luppi. Así, el disco debut del conjunto progresivo melódico italiano, titulado "One Of A Kind", saldrá a las tiendas en marzo del próximo año.

Michele Luppi partió de la banda del Olaf Thorsen el 2007, permitiendo el regreso de Fabio Lione, ex LABYRINTH y RHAPSODY OF FIRE, a la formación.
